Whats the point following cheesy builds if you dont experiment by yourself? I'd love to find some more info on the game. I seen someone on youtube make a paladin character with some heals, so that might be the way to go. I don't want to make a party, create some kind of dedicated healer and then find out I don't really need them. Like is there any need for a healer? that kind of thing. I would like to have some idea on what works and what is the best though first.Īt the moment I can't find any info on making a party for the game, and what sort of classes/skills are best for starting out. I only want to play as single player for now, but I do like the idea of making builds in the game. What kind of builds have you discovered that you'd recommend? You can pick your level before battle, it goes over level 100. One wrong mis-play and your friends watch you die and they have to decide if they want to surrender becuase they just lost thier dps, tank, cc, ect. We're currently fighting level 36 and we get pwned without the right setup and stategy. If you have some friends and like theory-crafting builds then this game is a must-play. I currently have 160 hours with no plan of stopping soon. A lot more is planned including town-building, ect. The current end-game is indeed all about builds and loot. It varies a lot based on luck with loot, number of characters, build performance, ect. To defeat them, you’ll have to learn how each one of them work – so you will need to study them thoroughly, especially in the highest difficulty settings.Originally posted by techn0:- It probably takes 20-30 hours for most people to get to max level (30). The Herald of the Abyss summons clones of the players that use their skills against them. The Crystal Golem splits into smaller versions of himself the more damage you do to him. huge area effect damage, large amounts of healing, and summoning a powerful ally, because the Sultan is not exactly a nice person). The Sultan summons an Efreet that grants his wishes (i.e. Admiral Blackbeard summons cannons with an area-of-effect attack that can hit a big portion of the map at some points he also summons a treasure chest that makes him and his allies invulnerable, forcing you to focus your attacks on it for a while. We also wanted to make sure that every special attack and stage made sense for each boss’ lore and setting, giving them a unique flavor. Multi-stage boss battle are especially popular now thanks to soulslike games, but they’re way older than that, having started in the 80s (at least). When discussing different possibilities, we decided we would add triggers that modify each boss’ behavior when their health crosses certain thresholds. That’s what we had in mind when working in this update: bosses should not be just bigger versions of normal monsters, but unforgettable enemies with their own unique flair and mechanics. Ending a game without a final reckoning whatsoever feels like climbing a tall mountain only to realize it’s got no summit. Even in a turn-based strategy games like this one, their final battles are key to the experience, a climax for the whole adventure that crowns and justifies all the efforts the player has put into it.
